Q: What shipping method does exledshop.com use? 

     A: We have 2 shipping methods (via FedEX), they are FedEx International Priority (2~5 Business Days) and FedEx International Economy (4~9 Business Days). The exact available shipping method, destinations and cost can be found after you have added items to cart and proceed to check out. 

Q: What is the shipping cost to my country and do you ship to my country?

     A: You can find the shipping cost to your country once you add all the products to your cart. Emailing us what the shipping cost is will result in us finding out the shipping cost the same way. We don't have a specific cost per country, as it depends on the size of box required to send your items to you. We do ship worldwide, so when you go to find out the cost for shipping, there will be a dropdown menu of available countries we ship to. We ship to all countries on that list. If your country is not on that list please email us for ways to purchase our products. Customers residing in Russia or Ukraine are not allowed to purchase from exledshop.com, but must purchase from exledru.com. No exceptions.

Q: Why is the shipping cost so expensive when other companies offer much cheaper or free shipping?

     A: The shipping cost may seem expensive, however we ship using FedEx, which is more safe/reliable than EMS or Korea post, which other companies use. Also, other companies who promote free shipping or lowered shipping costs already have all or part of the shipping costs integrated into their product prices. That means you will actually be paying MORE for shipping when you purchase multiple items from them than if you purchase direct from us, as the shipping price that we charge is calculated after all of your items are in the shopping cart.

Q: How long will it take to receive my order? 

     A: The length of time it takes to receive your order depends on what you purchase. If you purchase LEDs only, then usually we will ship out within 2-3 business days. If you purchase non exLED products, then it may take up to 2 weeks for us to send the products to you. If you purchase LEDs that come in OEM parts (completed assemblies) or OEM parts by themselvles, then it may take up to 4 weeks (depending on the part) for us to be able to ship the item to you. Once we ship, you should receive your item within 2-12 business days. 

Please be patient with us as we are a small company and we are one of the very few who actually makes the products that we sell. You might have to wait a little bit to receive your products, but rest assured, we are doing our best to get the product out to you. We are not one of those companies who take your money and don't deliver.

Q: I paid for faster shipping. Why has my order not been shipped?

     A: If you choose FedEx Int'l Priority for shipping between our 2 shipping options (FedEx Int'l Economy/Priority), it does not mean we will ship your items out any sooner (since everything is made to order). It just means that AFTER we ship, your items will get to you sooner. They won't be in transit as long. 



Once we have received your payment, all exLED orders will show various order status stages before being shipped out. Please check the meaning of these order status messages. 

Q: What does "Open", "Processed", "Complete" mean?

     A: If your order is marked as "Open," it means your order has not been processed by us physicially, and that we are still awaiting payment from you. If your order is marked as "Processed," your order has been confirmed by us and we are currently making your products or waiting for them to come in. If your order is marked as "Complete," your order's shipping label has been printed, tracking number uploaded to your account, and is either waiting for shipment that day or has been shipped.

Q: How long is the processing time?

     A: The moority of orders can be processed within 1 to 3 business days of receiving payment. However, processing time depends on item's availability and quality control. Please note that exLED's processing time might be longer durng peak season and on South Korea's National Holidays. 



Q: Do I have to pay tax?

     A: Tax is a complex issue, because it depends what country you are receiving the goods into. Some countries are easy to import into and have few restrictions and no taxes. Other countries are extremely restrictive and have high taxes. Before you start importing bigger quantities of exLED products to your country. you'll need to research what the law and practices are in your country. 


Q: I'm a new customer. Can you offer me some sort of discount?

     A: Unfortunately we do not offer any new customer discounts.


Q: Do you have sales?

     A: Absolutely we have sales, however we will not tell you exactly when if you randomly ask us. We post on our home page as well as on our Facebook account when we have sales. You can also be notified if you agree to receive emails from exLEDSHOP when you register. 


Q: I'm thinking of buying multiple items. Can I get a discount?

     A: Multiple item order discounts are available on orders of 5 or more of exact same items or 15 different items or more regardless of the overall subtotal. However, it can not be used on non exLED products, exLED products that include OEM parts, or OEM parts. It is applicable ONLY on exLED LED MODULE products. For example, if you want to purchase 10 sets of exLED rear reflector LEDs, you may receive a discount. However, if you purchase a non exLED Elantra headlight, non exLED Elantra tail light, and exLED interior lights, you cannot receive a discount on that order even though it is expensive because you are only purchasing 1 exLED item. 


Q: I'm worried about my safety. What do you do with the information we fill in to register on your website?

     A: We do absolutely nothing with the information you give us. We only use your information for shipping purposes and to contact you about your order. For those of you who check the box allowing us to send you periodic emails, we will email you every once in a while about upcoming sales and events.



Q: My product has a problem! What can I do?

     A: Try to trouble shoot the item by asking us what to do (if you can't figure it out). Often we can solve the problem for you without you needing to send us anything back. In many cases the product seems to have a problem, but it can be solved by rehandling, installing properly, or fixing an attached parts. 

         In the event that you are missing an item, please email (WITHIN 7 DAYS OF RECEIVING YOUR ORDER) us exactly what you are missing and we will send it out to you after we verify your information and order details. In the case where an item is damaged/dead on arrival, please take a picture of the damaged item and the packaging and email us (WITHIN 7 DAYS OF RECEIVING YOUR ORDER) so we can replace it for you (depending on the product we may fix it for free rather than sending a replacement). DO NOT OPEN A PAYPAL CLAIM BEFORE CONTACTING US!!!

Q: Do you offer any wiring diagrams or installation manuals?

     A: At the moment, the only wiring diagrams we have can be found in our wiring diagram section. We're working hard to make installation instructions for our products, however it is a slow process. We do not always have vehicles to install in.


Q: I'm wary about dealing with business that don't have a phone number. Is there a phone number I can call?

     A: At the moment, the only phone number available is our main phone number at the bottom of the page. However, the main switchboard is in Korean. We are working to get a direct number to our Engish representative. We cannot call you. If we need to contact you, we will email you.
